VPHS
The VPHS range of products consist of mainstream Videophone products designed by Red Embedded Design and generally with a full range of features. The earlier products in the range were designed as IP phones, for connection to the main broadband connection to the home, and were typically fixed in one point in the home. They are provided with a full feature range so as to position the unit as a premium product - even though as an IP phone operating costs are low.
Later products in the range include Wifi functionality making it possible to provide a handheld videophone. The latest version will also include a range of audio and video streaming functionality and a fully featured browser so as to take advantage of other aspects of an operators 'triple play' service offering where this is needed.
