VPTV

The VPTV range of products consist of Videophone products designed by Red Embedded Design and produced in a Set Top Box form factor, using the TV screen as the display to view the videophone caller at the other end of the line. These products can be used to meet niche requirements - products for hospitals, the elderly, particular interest groups - or else form part of a mainstream product offer.

The Roadmap to later products in this series will include a number of features of the VPHS series products. It may also be possible to include VPTV functionality into STBs designed for entertainment use. In this way an Operator could add an appealing feature which would be unique at least in a number of geographic markets.
