Set Top Videophone Roadmap
Red Embedded Design's very first videophone product was integrated in a Set Top Box form factor. It remains our expectation that a number of major Operators will require this sort of product either for niche or volume markets so that their customers can take advantage of videotelephony communications possibilities from their triple play service provider and at minimal additional cost.
Among other requirements, Red Embedded have now also developed Set Top Box product specifically designed for the elderly and infirm and believe Telehealth will be an important and growing market segment with specific needs and requirements.
The Roadmap features and plans depend on integration with Operators' systems and plans.
