Joice Service
Red Embedded has developed for initial trials and low volume use products suited to the Joice service. This service will be marketed around Europe for use to assist the elderly and infirm living at home. Red Embedded is the authorised distribution point for this service in the UK. The service consists of;
- Provision of a ''Joicebox'' Videophone product designed by Red Embedded
- Access to the ''Joice'' service for two way calling over IP, with associated services including technical support, help and support services and phone book management.
- Compatible PC client for users with PC skills
The service is intended to provide two way communication between the elderly and infirm and their carers and makes available the following features;
- Picture dialling
- One button calling
- Privileged caller status options
- Alternative user options and set up depending on user capability
