History
The Red Embedded Design Company was founded in 2003 by 5 Engineers with a broad experience in Product Design and Development of digital consumer audio visual products.
The operation started in rent free premises but soon had to move on to more spacious custom office and laboratory premises located just off the Bradford University Campus.
Initially the Company worked on a range of Videophone products and developed a series of software stacks as a core asset within the Design unit. We continue to develop these assets and incoporate these into our products. The Visual Care Systems unit developed later as a result of work for one particular customer with whom we are now working together.
Thanks to the reputation of the founders and key engineering staff we have always been approached to provide Consulting services. We initially took this up only as needed but since early 2007 we have embraced this side of our work and have steadily increased the customer base and with regular repeat business establishing a good reputation with a number of world leading clients
