Red Embedded, have grown their design capability with regard to FPGA/ASIC technology. The move satisfies demand from clients who need to quickly access the specialist skills, experience and infrastructure they need without making the investment in tools or carrying specialist teams that are not fully utilised.

Increasingly designs require high levels of integration and performance that can only be met by the flexibility offered by FPGA and ASIC technology. Our growth has added to our bank of experience that now covers most available FPGA and ASIC tool chains and devices. The additional skills complement our existing capabilities in high-speed hardware design, DSP, real time and embedded software. The team is already running with projects that include the design of professional equipment in the broadcast and medical diagnostic fields.

We are able to respond to our customers’ needs with appropriate technology by providing a flexible service. Deliverables can range from providing a design block in VHDL or Verilog, delivering a FPGA or ASIC device into your board design or a fully integrated product. We are also able to provide assistance to customers who are involved with high-level design and system partitioning where our knowledge and experience can be used to reduce the risk and cost associated with technology choice.
