Bradford, Yorkshire UK . 18th October 2009 – Red Embedded were selected winner in the category 'Excellence in Business'. The award recognizes the achievements in growth in revenue, customer base and highly skilled staff. The award, sponsored by the Yorkshire Bank, was presented to Andrew Stewart (MD) and Rahul Mehra (CTO) at a ceremony hosted by the Yorkshire Post at the Queens hotel in Leeds on 16th October 2009.

Much of the success that led to the award is attributed to our work providing technical and professional services to clients who develop and deploy complex audio-video devices such as set-top boxes. Red Embedded's client base is made up of 'tier one' companies from around the world such as Directv and British Sky Broadcasting, two of the world's largest digital TV broadcasters as well as technology vendors such as chip manufactures, security and software providers.

Andrew Stewart (MD) said "We are proud to receive this award that represents a lot of hard work from our team. I was impressed by the hi-tech nature of the other companies nominated for awards. This shows how vibrant the digital and knowledge economies are in the region. We have found that there is a strong worldwide demand for the knowledge and experience that we make available to our clients and look forward to continued growth".
